[ the butterfly garden should be safe, right? hm.

well here they are, taking a walk trough, nothing out of the ordinary yet. ]

I've never seen a hotel with a butterfly garden, it's rather impressive.

[mustbepurged]

Me neither...

[She kneels down by a flowering bush, and reaches out to one of the sparkling white butterflies. It floats away, just out of reach.]

It feels closer to nature than the carefully-manicured gardens of the castle, too.

Week 0, Saturday

[mustbepurged]

[Hello Diluc, you've found Estelle sitting out in the courtyard. She's looking pretty miserable, but she looks up to acknowledge him, at least.]

Was that what these are usually like...?

[ hello, he has tea for her. he nods, setting the cup down and joining her. ]

I'm afraid so.

I wish I could say they get easier, but I'd rather not lie to you.

week 0, sunday | post-exec

[ after the "show" diluc will come looking for estelle! he would like to check on her, also i'm gonna go ahead and say that canopus just stayed with her. so he's on the look out for her as well.

when he enters the cemetery, and spots her, he'll come up beside her. and softly:]

How are you feeling?

[mustbepurged]

[Sweet Canopus...

Estelle's sitting in front of Sieghart's grave, seemingly offering a prayer... but when she looks over, she gives Diluc a small smile.]

... I'm okay. I had a chance to talk with him last night, so... I felt a lot better after that.

I wish it didn't have to be like that, though... [our looney tunes execution.]

Week 1, Saturday

[Estelle can be found sitting somewhere in the hotel, looking pretty miserable.]

We made the right choice, but... it still doesn't feel right at all...

[shinetrue]

[ canopus beats him, running up to bump her head against estelle, before wiggling her way into her lap. diluc joins soon after, taking a seat next to her. ]

I've come to learn that there never seems to be a true right or wrong, not in places like this. [ frowns. ]

I'm sorry, Estelle.

[ she is sad and that makes him that much more sad....weh. ]

week 1, sunday | post exec

[ the prism library it is!! this was one of my favorites in chroma, so this is perfect.

canopus finds estelle first, rubbing against her and meowing. diluc follows soon after. softly:]

Estelle. How are you?

[mustbepurged]

[She's already got an open book in hand. It takes a moment for her to look up, but with Canopus being so quick to greet her, she already knows who's there.]

... I'm all right. [She offers a weak smile.] I just thought I'd get some reading in while we still have access to this place.

week 2, monday

[ icly this is happening on monday! ]

[ they're in the costume closet!! diluc is going through and finding things he recognizes! actually, he's currently wearing one of them, so he looks like this!!

he turns to estelle.]

How does it look?

Oh, is that like...

[She thinks. Something familiar about this...]

A phantom thief! Like in the book!

Week 2, Friday

[mustbepurged]

[Friday afternoon, Estelle is in the library. While she's usually seen here with a book in her hand, it doesn't look like she's managed to tear her focus away from the morning announcement just yet. When she notices Diluc nearby, she turns to greet him with a polite nod of her head. There's a weak attempt at a smile.]

I suppose it's too much to hope for anything else... But I still wish I could have talked with him more.

[ i'm so sorry i never tagged this back orz ]

[ he nods back at her, coming over to join her, of course canopus beats him and is right at estelle's side. ]

Places like this never seem to care about time or how much we get to spend it with each other. I'm sorry, Estelle.

week 3, tuesday

[ we are here in the courtyard, maybe they're enjoying some tea time, looking at the statue, or just having a nice chat! whatever they're doing here, it'll surely change very soon. ]

I've heard there's been a memory issue amongst others? I wonder if it's anything like what we've experienced before.

[ well last time was random shards of glass and this time is stardust! how fun!!

R, right! It happened a bunch yesterday... I don't know if it's the same as what happened before, though.

[Since her lil 2week game didn't have memshares.]

week 4, monday

[ biome garden!!

diluc looks a bit in awe, at the scenery here, a smile on his face. canopus also looks impressed, as she walks between his legs, before going over and doing the same to estelle. ]

This place is rather beautiful.

I really didn't expect to find something like this in outer space... There are so many roses!

Week 4, Friday

[mustbepurged]

[Some time after the death announcements, Estelle comes to Diluc's door and knocks.]

Diluc, are you there?

[shinetrue]

[ estelle will hear a meow from behind the door, then after a moment it opens, diluc there to greet her. he looks tired. ]

Estelle, what can I do for you?

week 4, saturday | post trial

[shinetrue]

[ if estelle is looking for diluc after trial, he'll be in the courtyard! standing by a flower bed, looking up at the sky, arms crossed.

canopus is seated next to his foot, she'll turn her head to look at estelle. ]

[mustbepurged]

[After Estelle's had a chance to bathe and change her clothes, she's out looking for Diluc. When she finds him, she approaches, stopping nearby. She opens her mouth to speak, but words don't come out. She can't find her voice.

So instead, she just steps forward and hugs him.]

Week 4, Sunday

[mustbepurged]

[Estelle is out in the courtyard after the execution, sitting on the bench with a cup of tea, looking out at the flowers, somewhat absently. She glances up when she notices Diluc.]

... Would you like to join me?

[shinetrue]

[ he offers her a small wave and a nod. ]

Absolutely.

[ he will sit next to her! canopus will sit at estelle's feet uwu ]

How are you fairing?

Week 5, Thursday

[mustbepurged]

[There's no knock, but Estelle's at the door to Diluc's room, some time after their return.]

Diluc, are you here?

[She's still wearing the robes, unfortunately.]

[shinetrue]

[ estelle will hear a meow from the other side of the door. canopus knew she was there. and after a moment the door opens.

diluc has changed and is mostly cleaned up, bandages wrapped around various areas of his body, his hair is down and covering his face.

he looks a little surprised, seeing her both here and still in the robes, but then his face softens. ]

Estelle, I'd thought you'd be resting...Ah, come in.

[ he'll move aside so she can! ]

week 5, saturday | post trial

[shinetrue]

[ diluc is coming to find estelle in the courtyard! canopus finds her first, of course, running up to rub against her leg. ]

Estelle.

[ his voice is soft, as he comes to stand/sit with her. ]

[mustbepurged]

[She's just sitting with a book in her lap, though she's been on the same page for some time -- probably distracted by her thoughts. Canopus snaps her out of it, and she looks down with a softening expression, then up at Diluc.]

... It always feels terrible, at the end of these... I feel like I should have done more.

week 6, saturday | post trial

[ with estelle looking for him, she will find him in the courtyard! by the statues of npcs past...he's standing in front of one of the winged statues.

canopus turns her head to see estelle and strids up to her. ]

[mustbepurged]

[She'll stop to pet Canopus... then quietly joins Diluc at his side, gazing up at this statue, too.]

week 7, saturday

[ everything happens so much, all the time...help.

after things have calmed down or people are at least preoccupied by pawty, diluc is stepping away to the courtyard. time for some fresh air! also checking on estelle, once he sees her, canopus, of course, is the first to greet her! gently rubbing against estelle's leg and meowing up at her.

diluc is right behind. ]

Looks like this is officially our final night in the hotel, it's a lot like our very first night. Where we had to make ourselves comfortable in the lobby, til our rooms were ready.

[mustbepurged]

[She reaches down to pet Canopus, then looks up to Diluc with a smile.]

Oh, that's right...! It feels like so long ago, now.

[She casts a thoughtful look at her surroundings, as if taking them in for one last time...]

... This won't be goodbye, right? If you have a way of reaching Yuri, then we'll still be able to meet again too, won't we?
