It's where I lived for most of my life. I didn't get to go outside very much until recently.

Understandable in that they just want to keep you safe, but it can definitely feel smothering at times.

They went to the land of the dead, a place we were not able to access til the last week we were there. After they were gone, we were still able to send them letters and even receive ones from them, though they had to be short.

The dead were even able to haunt us. And even though it was a very brief interaction, and they could not talk or touch, it was still very comforting.
